Overview
This is a premium Xiaguan production pressing of Bu Lang area raw pu-erh tea called "Cang Zhao Rui Gong" ่่ฏ็่ดก. Cang refers to the Cang Mountains outside of Dali. Zhao refers the ancient Zhao Kingdom which was centered in Dali. Rui Gong means something like "auspicious tribute". Anyways... this is a spring 2019 tea. The date on the wrapper (March 28 2019) is the final harvest date for the tea (not the pressing date). This is a smooth and sweet Bu Lang tea with some bitterness and astringency that quickly transforms into a sweet floral experience very quickly! Very well balanced tea with true Bu Lang character! This is pressed into an iron cake, one of the classic Xiaguan "shapes" for pressing pu-erh. This helps lock in the flavor of the tea and stabilize slow down the aging process. For tropical climates it's very useful but for drier climates it will help preserve the tea's Bu Lang character. 357 grams per cake (7 cakes per paper tong in gift box). ***Box may be damaged in transit. No refunds or credits will be issued and no returns will be accepted for a damaged box. If you want a perfect box, please do not order the boxed item since we cannot guarantee a box in perfect condition.***
