Overview
weight: 2oz / loose teaorigin: Alishan, Taiwanaltitude: 1,000m This tea is commonly called "high-mountain tea" by drinking consumers. This tea is produced at altitude ~1000 meters in the Alishan mountain area (one of the most tourist-attractive spots in Taiwan). Normally, the weather is cold and there canopy cloudy mists last every day in "High Mountain". The average sunshine is also short. The tea leaves and buds are tender. The mesophyll is thick and pectin contents are high. Hence high-mountain teas have some characteristics, such as black-green appearance, sweet taste, refined aroma and enduring brewing etc. Since the quality for this tea is good, all the leaves were hand-picked. This tea is lightly roasted.
