Overview
Grown under the strong summer sun and harvested in the autumn time. This mountain-grown bancha from the Kinezuka family when compared to a sencha has less sweetness and a stronger astringency but will please you with its refreshing aroma and taste. Bancha also has relatively more catechin (compared to other nutrients) due to its long exposure to sunlight. Because it has less caffeine in comparison to a sencha, it can be enjoyed by children and seniors.
