Professor's Organic Green Tea Powder was made in collaboration with Hiroshi Taguchi, Professor Emeritus and the head of Laboratory of Health Promotion, Mie University. This particular sencha powder has a very high rate of ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity). ORAC is used for measuring antioxidant capacities, a method presented by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and National Institute on Aging in 1992. Net Weight: 30 grams Region: Tsu City, Mie Prefecture Notes: Made from tea that is cultivated without pesticides or synthetic fertilizers Steeping:Place 0.5 grams (1/3 teaspoon) of sencha powder in a yunomi cup. Pour 100 cc (1/2 cup, 3.4 fl oz) of hot / cold water into the cup and mix well with a spoon.
