Overview
Aileng Mountain, Mangjing village, Jingmai Mountain Ancient garden material harvested between October 6th and 10th. Handprocessed by Ai Gong, sha qing on the green side This tea was made by our old friend Ai Gong who live in Mangjing. Ten years ago, we were learning how to make tea together. Mangjing is the second largest village on Jingmai mountain. They are Bulang, not Dai. Their gardens are smaller than the Da Ping Zhang plateau, but they have delicious tea on Ai Leng Mountain. The tea that grows there has smaller and greener leaves than usual for the area. If you ever visit Jingmai, this is one of the places you should visit. The hill is not very large but has a distinguable shape, you can see it well from the temple. Compared to our tea from Da Ping Zhang, this one has a stronger bitterness and astringency, a bit closer in taste to Menghai tea, but with a unique aroma. It was processed with a strong cooking, so you can expect a vibrant and lively tea, best enjoyed fresh.
