Overview
This is a wonderfully aged ripe pu-erh tea from the Wenshan region of Yunnan (south-eastern Yunnan). Aged from 2003 to 2021 in Wenshan and then Kunming until present-time. We like this brick because its aging has brought out a lovely herbaceous sweetness that is mild and pleasant. Its storage, although not dry, has given it a pure sweet character that is without earthy notes. The steeped tea has a very mild and supportive cha qi present. If you want to get more out of this brick we recommend long steeps for gong fu brewing or using 6-7 grams in a SAMA Flask ( MC09 or MC05 ) for 30-60 minutes! 250 grams per brick (no date stamp on the wrapper)
