In our opinion, this is the tea equivalent of a cat’s healing purr. Made from 2010 Menghai shou puer, this tea covers the most important ground of a good shou: Smooth, with nutty notes, a cocoa quality, and overall warming, comforting effect. With plenty of age on it, the soup is also quite clean and free of any fermentation or storage notes. This soothing tea is accompanied by soothing portraits of five of Emperor Qianlong’s personal cats on the wrapper, with the Imperial Feline’s name and meaning on the reverse side.
