Overview
Gyokuro Japanese green tea is one of the highest-grade teas in Japan, known for its natural sweetness, silky body, and deep umami richness. Shade-grown before harvest, it develops a refined, smooth flavor with minimal bitterness. Elegant and concentrated, Gyokuro offers a calm, focused energy and a truly premium tea experience. Taste profile Rich umami with pronounced sweetness, soft vegetal notes, and a silky texture. Deep, lingering finish with almost no bitterness. Brewing guide Use 2–3 tsp (6–10 g) per 50 ml of water at 40–60°C. Steep for 2 minutes.Pour completely into cups to prevent over-extraction. Suitable for 2–3 infusions, with slightly higher temperature (70–80°C) and shorter steeping time (10 sec) for subsequent brews. Origin Japan, Uji region
