Overview
A single cultivar (benihikari) light black tea with sweet, floral notes of citrus and a hint of cinnamon. Enjoy straight, or steep stronger for making milk tea. Harvested in micro batches (2-3 dozen kilograms) in late May by the Kuma family in the mountains of Yame, Fukuoka. Steeping notes To drink straight - Tea: 3g. Time: 4 min. Water: 95C/203F, 150 ml. For milk tea - Tea: 5g. Time: 3 min. Water: 100C/212F, 120 ml. Straight cold brew - Tea: 4g. Time: 10+ min. Water: Room temperature, 200 ml. Remember, these are just guidelines (and may differ on our label). You can and should adjust according to your preference. More tea / less water / longer time for a stronger flavor; lower temperature for more sweetness / hotter temperature for more bitterness.
