Our Organic Summer Harvest Matcha is sourced directly from a Certified Organic family farm in Kagoshima, Japan. Freshly ground from summer-harvest tea leaves shaded for 28 days, this matcha features robust vegetal notes and medium umami. Its bold, full-bodied character makes it ideal for lattes and culinary creations. Cultivar: Saemidori + Yabukita Yabukita (やぶきた) is the most widely grown cultivar, accounting for over 70% of Japan’s tea crops. It’s known for its balanced profile, fresh grassy notes, and strong umami. Saemidori (さえみどり) produces a vivid green matcha with a sweeter, umami-rich flavour and light astringency.
