Organic Wild Cultivar Red We managed to get a limited amount of this wild and wonderful experiment of Camellia Formosensis made into a red oolong and we would love to hear what you think. A bit of a tea for the tea nerds, the red fruit notes of this tea meld well with the dark leaf litter Formosensis notes to create an unique flavor profile. It is great to contrast with the lighter oxidized Wild Cultivar Oolong and if you like that tea this it is worth a try! Elevation: 300m Status: Certified Organic Cultivar: Eastern Camellia Formosensis Oxidization: 85% Season: Winter 2025 Method: Hand picked, processed on site, very small batch Region: Luye, Taidong Recommend Brewing Style: Gong Fu Style: 3-5g per 100ml, ~100C water, 30, 45, 60 then add 5-10 seconds steeps in gaiwan. Lasts 4-5 steeps. Western Style: 3g per 100ml, ~100c water for 3 minutes. Lasts 2-3 steeps.
