Overview
Tip: start at ~95°C, then adjust down 3–5°C if it turns sharp.

First flush material from "Lian Ge Village" in Zhen Kang county of Lincang. Zhen Kang county is home to some of the remotest border areas and high mountains in Yunnan. Lian Ge village at an altitude of 1600 meters has surrounding mountains and tea gardens up to 1800 meters. Untended tea bushes and trees between 60 and 200 years old blanket the mountains in this area. Our Lian Ge Zhai production has a nice balanced bitter and astringent character with a fast "hui gan" and sweet after-taste. Even in it's young age it will go 10+ infusions. 40 kilograms in total produced! 400 grams per cake (7 cakes per bamboo tong).
