Rich, subtle floral and sweet it is a great example of why the preference for winter time teas come in second only to the first picks of the spring. Grown at 2000m above sea level on a western facing slope, this year's winter harvest season had great weather and you can tell from the brew of this easy-to-steep crowd pleaser of a tea. This tea is the winter pick so the flavors are stronger, more floral and a touch more vegetal than the other seasons. All three seasons are slightly different but all three have the same underlying greatness. Preferences as to the best are your own.
