The workaday green tea staple. The grassiness is subdued and allows a simple sweetness to come forth and soften the seaweed spirits. Easy and unassuming.Produced summer 2025 in Shizuoka Prefecture. It’s a deep-steamed tea made from the Yabukita cultivar. Bancha is made of leaf material obtained when pruning the plants between standard first and second flush harvests. Its coarse leaves produce a simpler, lighter cup. Ingredients: green tea Steeping Instructions 4 grams | 10-12 oz water | 175°F | Steep 3 min.
