Here we have a classic blended Menghai recipe cake from the old school Nan Qiao Tea Factory. Potent first flush of spring 2005 tea from Menghai (Bulang and Mengsong) was blended together, pressed, and then stored in a dry storage condition in Guangzhou until now. The result is multi-faceted complex tea with a strong aged character. Some bitterness up front with a strong and long sweet fruity hui gan. The tea soup is thick and orange-red in color. This cake commemorates the 50th Anniversary of the Liming Agricultural Collective, a prominent Menghai area rural cooperative from which many of the early pu-erh tea factories sprung. 357 Grams per cake Please note: Wrapper may be bug bitten and the integrity of the wrapper may be compromised as a result. If you need a a tea with a perfect wrapper, this is NOT the tea for you!
