Made from similar Kunlu Shan material as our Oh Deer sheng puer, this white tea is equally dynamic. Given the variety of tea tree cultivars, both domesticated and semi-wild, that coexist in Kunlu, this isn’t necessarily a surprise. There is a pleasant vegetal quality that is a bit savoury, while the sweetness comes through in the form of a nice huigan. Overall, this tea remains crisp and refreshing throughout each brew. There is also a touch of bitterness in the soup, however, this is very much relative to other white teas, which tend to be low in bitterness.
