Overview
Best pick • solid dark choice from Unknown origin
Pairing: shortbread, fresh fruit, or mild cheeses

This is a small production made of blended ripe pu-erh tea from Menghai area. It's modeled after the famous Da Yi 7562 recipe, and does look much like their productions in terms of leaf size. The taste is incredibly unique and is a great example of how smokiness in Pu-erh processing can even carry into ripe pu-erh and outlast the wet pile processing and decades of aging! Kunming Aged since 2001, this has a crisp clarity to the taste that is pungent and long lasting in the mouth. As mentioned there is a smokiness present, not overpowering but noticeable. There are also some dried fruit essences present as well. 250 Grams per brick (no wrapping originally used, so these will come wrapped in white paper). Region: Menghai (Xishuangbanna)
