Buttermilk Oolong Taiwanese Milk Oolong doesn't 'taste' like milk. It 'feels' like milk. A thick, sweet and full mouthfeel is the name of the game for masterfully produced milk oolongs and this one has it in spades. Oxidized a little more than high elevation oolongs, this tea also has a subtle and rich fruit aftertaste lacking in many higher elevation oolongs. This great tasting tea is one of the best value teas on the site right now for one main reason. The Ilan area is not 'famous' so the 'terroir premium' is at a minimum. We know for a fact that many resellers buy tea in this area and sell it at a premium in 'Alishan' or 'Shanlinxi' labelled bags. Cheating is not our style, so we are happy to be able to offer this tea at its authentic, great value price! Elevation: 300m Status: Tested Agrochemical Free Season: April 18th, 2025 Cultivar: Jinxuan (Milk) Oolong Method: Machine picked, processed on site, small batch Oxidization: 35%, Region: Ilan County Recommend Brewing Style: Gong Fu Style: 3-5g per 100ml, ~100C water, 30, 45, 60 then add 5-10 seconds steeps in gaiwan.
