Polished Jade This is a tea that should not exist. Bought in late 2025 in our recent 'Storage Wars' Tea Shop Buy, this Green Jade cultivar oolong has been sitting vacuum sealed on a shelf untouched for the last 10-15 years. The flavor notes are absolutely unique! This common greenish machine picked oolong has turned into something special after being abandoned for over 10 years. Strong yellow stone fruit flavors and rich complex florals overlay a ripe vegetal with a touch of licorice that is the product of its age. It has a 'wow' factor for how unique the flavor is, and we certainly haven't had anything like it before. Greenish oolong like this are almost never aged purposely in Taiwan, but after trying this tea we might start a few experiments! **This tea is part of the collection of tea bought from a tea shop that had laid untouched since the mid 2010s. As is common with most aged teas, many of the details of the teas are missing and we have shared as much information as we can. We will be releasing these teas slowly as we catalog and explore them over the next months. Elevation: 400m (?)
