Overview
Tip: start at ~95°C, then adjust down 3–5°C if it turns sharp.
This unique and award-winning black tea puts a Japanese spin on the classic Earl Grey profile, blending Yame Wakoucha with citrus peel from the rare Keraji mikan which only grows on the island of Kikaijima. This uncommon citrus has aromatic notes of white flowers and sansho. The name, Earl Key takes the 'K' from Keraji and in Japanese is pronounced to rhyme with 'grey'. Producer: Kumaen Region: Yame, Fukuoka Cultivar: Benihikari Harvested: Blended Picking: Handheld Machine
