Overview
Tip: start at ~95°C, then adjust down 3–5°C if it turns sharp.

This rare black tea is a special order I made two years ago for our tea shop. The tea is made using leaves from wild ancient tea trees that are over 500 years old. These tree leaves are traditionally used for making Puerh. We have been searching for premium quality black tea from real wild tea trees for many years and we are so excited to introduce this remarkable black tea to our customers and tea friends after two years of search/anticipation. This wild black tea is harvested in the early spring with a bud and two leaves. The dry leaves are in brown colour with golden tips. It has a very distinctive and mesmerising floral and fruity aroma with wild forest flavours and a strong Qi. The tea liquid is thick. The taste is sweet and complex with a faint and pleasant astringency and a cooling citrus after taste that lingers for a long time in your mouth. Tea: Yunnan Wild Gu Shu Black Tea Factory: Bai Zha Origin: Yunnan province Types: Black / Red Harvest Period: 2019, early spring
