Overview
Tip: start at ~95°C, then adjust down 3–5°C if it turns sharp.

This Taiwanese black tea uses the Shan Lin Xi cultivar, usually made into oolong, to produce a rich and clean cup of black tea. A body of moist dark wood and cacao blends with an adornment of dried blueberries and roses. A peaty afterglow rounds out this bold but very smooth black tea. Strong enough to stand up to milk but excellent on its own. BREWING INSTRUCTIONS: SCOOP | 3 gm or 1heaping tsp per 8oz waterPOUR | Boiling water over leavesSTEEP | 1.5 min Steeping instructions are a starting point for how to make this tea. We encourage you to play around with the tea quantity or steeping time to customize the brew for your taste.
