Golden Bamboo Garden Village (金竹园村) is a small village in Jinggu county that lies at an altitude of 1450 meters. It's a remote village with only a small dirt track access to it, and has many wild tea trees growing on the steep hillsides both above and below the village. This tuo was pressed in the spring of 2013 from entirely wild arbor tea harvested by two families in the village. The tea was stored in Jinggu town for 4 years and then Kunming thereafter. The result is a lightly (but noticeably) aged elegant beauty of a tea. Smooth, with fruity tartness and a strong long-lasting sweet after-taste and layered complexity makes this a must have tea for those who can appreciate wild arbor teas and their more subtle character (in contrast to the harshness of factory plantation teas).
