This is an average blend of 4th grade material from 2011 to 2013, so it has already mellowed a bit. 8542 is a classic Menghai tea factory recipe that was first introduced in 1985. Somewhat similar to a 7542 recipe blend! Soft, clean liquor with a pleasant hui gan and full-bodied, floral notes. Good level of astringency that is not overpowering and leaves a 'citrus' like feel in the mouth.
