Duck Shit Fragrance Dan Cong (Ya Shi Xiang Dancong) is a premium grade Oolong from Guangdong Province. However, it does not really smell like "duck shit". It is known for a strong Honeysuckle flower-like aroma with sweet and fresh tastes. After several sips of tea, a long aftertaste still lingers in the mouth and throat. Why is it named with Duck Shit Fragrance Dancong? One of the versions says that one tea farmer found a tea tree with unusual dark green leaves in Feng Huang mountain. He picked some leaves home to make tea. After brewing, the tea tasted good and the farmer decided to go back for some more leaves. When he got there, he saw a few piles of duck shit under the tea tree.
