NOTE: Due to the current matcha shortage we are restricting orders to a maximum of 2 units per customer. We want to ensure a fair distribution to our customers. We are working with our suppliers to do what we can to ensure a sustainable supply. We appreciate your understanding. This fine culinary matcha is made from first flush, hand-picked leaves. It is a lower category of grade than ceremonial grades of tea, but it is properly processed and of sufficient quality to be enjoyed as a less-expensive alternative as well as a cooking matcha. It is slightly more bitter, less creamy and less complex than ceremonial matchas, but is great for baking, smoothies and matcha lattes. For this grade of tea it has an impressive colour and aroma. It has a toasted nutty aroma and bitter chocolate flavour with a rounded finish.
