Tip: start at ~95°C, then adjust down 3–5°C if it turns sharp.

This is a unique tea to be sure. It's made from Wild Tree Purple varietal tea (ye sheng cha) growing in the Big Snow Mountain area of Yong De county. The tea grows wild and is only harvested in March. The tea was processed using the same technique used for Yue Guang Bai, the tea wilts briefly before being put into a long wind tunnel tube, where the action of air movement gradually halts the oxidation of the tea. The taste is something unique too. There is a ton of complexity, with notes of fruit, flower, sugarcane, and a kind of bitterness that fades quickly. With just a couple years of age, most of the bitterness has already transformed into fruity sweetness with a long lasting after-taste. The tea soup is yellow, and is thick and soupy. 2023 First Flush of Spring Harvested 6.5-7 Grams per Dragon Ball (wrapper incorrectly says the weight is 5 grams each) These are sold by weight which includes the weight of the packaging (wrapper and twist-tie).
