If you’re familiar with the smoked Chinese tea, Lapsang Souchong, you may still not be familiar with it’s counterpart; the aptly named Unsmoked Lapsang Souchong. As the black tea from this area has an incredible honey sweetness and fruity jam like quality, some may find the smoke is too overwhelming for a tea like this, so the unsmoked variety was born. Bumbleberry Jam is a wild grown tea and insanely fruity with a bit of chocolate notes thrown in there for good measure. Absolutely recommended for those who are fans of Chinese Black (or Red) teas. Harvest: Spring, 2025 Region: Tongmuguan, Fujian, China

Tip: Brew at 90°C for 4–5 minutes to bring forward the jammy fruit and chocolate notes.
