This tea brick was produced in the 1980s by China’s largest Pu-erh producer, Menghai Tea Factory. It was stored in Hong Kong until our tea shop opened in 2002, and has since been carefully kept in Vancouver for over 20 years. The leaves are medium-sized and dark in color. The liquor brews deep, dark, and clear, with a substantial body and a soft, smooth, creamy texture. It offers earthy notes of wood and mushroom, making it an excellent choice for shou Pu-erh drinkers. The original full brick weighs 250 grams.
