This is an FT Production (广东飞台有限公司) of 18 years aged raw Pu-erh tea! Initially pressed as cakes and stored in Menghai for several years before being transported to Guangzhou for further storage. Then in 2022 the cakes were broken up and re-packaged into tins. 18 years of aging has given this tea a full and rich taste woody taste with an underlying sweetness. There is some peat and smoke, but it's not at all overpowering. This is a nicely aged pu-erh that is sure to satisfy those fans of other aged FT Productions. The "Mountain Rhyme" is the first release in the FT "Aged Xiao Tai" series. 100 Grams per tin October 1st 2022 is the date on the tin and refers to the date of re-packaging.
