This is a small "Farmer Yi Wu" pressing from Spring 2002 harvested tea. Yi Wu mountain area is in the north of Mengla county in the NW part of Xishuangbanna and is known for producing some of the finest and most balanced pu-erh teas! This pressing has been aged in Jinghong and also in Kunming. The majority of the time it was aged in Jinghong which is quite hot and humid! The itself is full-bodied with a strong complex mouth-feel and a smoky character that is countered with a fruity punch and sweet after-taste. This tea must have been quite a beast when it was young, and even now it's got tons of complexity and uniqueness! ** Some wrappers may be bug-bitten with little holes in the paper. There may also be some dust between the wrapper and the cake. Rinse tea once or twice briefly before drinking! If you are squeamish please don't order this tea!
