This tea comes from the mountain of Nilgiris in Southern India. Although this area is in the tropics, the mountain's elevation makes for cold nights. So, the tea plant grows very slowly, and the flavor is concentrated. Highly withered and lightly oxidized, this tea creates a bright, brisk cup.
