Name: Aged "Jixing " Mini Black Pu-Erh TuoContents: Black Pu-Erh Tuos (20 tuos)MFR Date: 05/2008Origin of China (Yunnan Province) "Jixing"(吉幸) is a sub-brand of "Zhong-Cha"(中茶). The tea has undergone more than 17 years of aging. With this many years, any “pile fermentation” odors should have faded. The liquor is round and mellow, often carrying aged or jujube aromas, suitable for daily healthful drinking. Easy to brew, but because of the tight compression, it needs proper rinsing (to “wake the tea”) so the body of the tea can open up, ensuring a balanced flavor. A 2008 tea is now at a very good “drinking stage,” where aroma and taste are mature and stable, making it excellent for everyday brewing.
