Description Description Wild high mountain plants are hand harvested from indigenous Ancestral Tea Plants dating to 1697 in Taiwan. Shan Cha's wild characteristics have never been able to be cultivated commercially making this a rare and unique tea. This amazing tea has a mild aroma of honey baked oats and a slight floral scent of wild rose. The tea liquor is perfectly balanced and smooth with fruit notes similar to white peaches. Multiple steepings are recommended and we always serve it in wine glasses. This is a totally hand picked, hand processed, hand batch tea from only wild plants. Only a few kilograms are made each year in July and August. If you are a true tea lover or want to give a special gift to a tea lover this is the tea for you.
