This velvety koicha has notes of chashews and cream and is blended from top-grade hand-picked and machine-picked tencha. This blended tencha is then rounded out by gentle drying and heating over binchotan charcoal, a traditional practice now almost extinct in Japan. The name Mare (希) means "Rarity".
