For the thrill of the hunt. The aromatic energy of hot rocks with a charged mouthfeel. Bright mineral cup with a sweet charcoal character – the standard for rock tea. "Rock Tea” or “Rock Oolong” is also known as “Da Hong Pao” (Big Red Robe). All of these terms are synonymous. We keep it simple and say “rock tea.” Leaves were harvested and produced in May of 2025 and roasted by our good friend Mr. Soup on November 13, 2025. He blends four cultivars from the Wuyi Mountains in northern Fujian (Shui Xian, Mei Zhan, Qi Lan, and Rou Gui) with the Tieguanyin cultivar of the Anxi region in southern Fujian and roasts them into a unique profile. Each cultivar is one bud, three leaf pick with elevation ranges of 1,600 feet in Wuyi to 2,200 feet in Anxi. All packages feature custom "Agate Hunter" artwork by Megan Heppner.
