Karteraki Herbal Tea is a traditional mix of loose herbs from central Crete. Each area in Crete produces a different version of this tea. Karteraki comes from the Greek verb which means to hope and wait, so Karteraki means a little hoping and waiting! Ingredients- Dictamo, Malotira, Mint, Anise, Salvia and Marjoram. Brewing Guide- We recommend using 1 teaspoon of the leaf, but if you like a stronger tea, then you could us up to 1½. This tea tastes best with freshly boiled water (roughly 100 degrees) and left to infuse for 5 to 10 minuets. How to Serve- Serve without milk to make a fantastic healthy herbal tea. Tasting Notes- A very pleasant taste with notes of Lemon. Colour in Cup- A pale yellow with golden highlights Pack sizes available- 50g, 125g, 250g, 500g, 1 Kilo. ( We pack everything fresh to order, nothing is off the shelf ! ). We pack all our teas in a unique material which combines card and foil, regarded as the best for retaining freshness and quality. Storage- In an airtight container away from other strong scents and heat. We would recommend using this tea within a year of purchasing. Health Benefits- This tea is full of antioxidants and acts as a very good detoxing tea! It also helps relax and refresh the body as well as aiding weight loss!
