Bolder and denser than tips-only, yet more floral and fragrant forward than shoumei grade, this baidmudan grade white tea is able to strike a perfect balance between delicate fragrance and substantial body. There is a slight herbaceous flavour, with notes of citrus zest and a notable 鲜/fresh/umami quality. Later steeps reveal more florals, making this an enjoyable tea that shift throughout the brews. With a thick texture, this tea lingers on the sides of the tongues and corner of the mouth, as well as offers more in terms of throat and huigan than tip-only grades of white tea.
