The creator of New Craft Ruby White (and our previous Iron Goddess Black), Mr. Lin, is a curious man. Indulging his experimentation yields incredible results, however: the teas we source from him are intensely flavorful, with notes that reveal themselves like a perfume. By contextualizing traditional tea styles with modern, proprietary processing techniques, he remixes the past with the present. Though this particular style has existed since the late 60’s, his expertise transformed the beloved black tea Ruby 18 cultivar into a powdered sugar-soft white tea with long-lingering hui gan.
