Overview
Pairing: breakfast pastries, aged cheese, or dark chocolate
The palate is bright with dynamic flowery flavour and a cup that tends somewhat light. A good after-dinner tea. Traditional Ceylon orange pekoe leaf. Excellent single estate from Sri Lanka. Ingredient: Ceylon Black tea Origin: Sri Lanka Caffeine Content: High Water Temperature: Boiling Steep Time: 3-5 minutes One heaping teaspoon per 8 ozs water "I love making this tea into a big batch of iced tea in the summer! I like my iced tea more similar to a milk tea. So, I usually add two tablespoons of loose tea into about 1-2 litres of boiling water, then I pour it over ice in my pitcher. I love adding a pretty hefty dollop of honey and sometimes a splash of milk to my cup!" Abbie, teateander (2019-2023)
