Traditionally made by scenting breakfast-style black tea leaves with bergamot citrus oil, Earl Grey nowadays is often artificially flavored. Instead, we prefer a natural approach, starting with our own proprietary blend of spring-harvested, East Asian black teas, to which we add whole pieces of dried orange peel. The resulting flavor, while a departure from traditional earl grey, is decidedly more natural, offering a bold and aromatic flavor profile with an uplifting orange zest finish. 1g per 1oz at 200°F for 2m This tea can handle higher brewing temperatures just shy of boiling.
