Ban Zhang may refer to the Pu-Erh tea or to villages where the Pu-erh tea grows. There are three Ban Zhang villages: Lao(V) Ban Zhang, Xing (V) Ban Zhang, and Lao Man Eh. They are all located on Bu Lang Mountain. Because it is very difficult to access the mountain in the olden days, this region where the villages and the old tea trees are is still kept in its original condition. The teas from these villages are very similar in appearance and taste. The tea have been aged for many years that it lose most flowery aroma. Instead it develop a fruity and earthy flavor. The leaves are becoming darker green color. The taste is mellow and has very soft "cha qi" balance bitterness. Sweet after taste. Six Famous Tea Mountain is one of the well-known tea factory in Yunnan province. It founded in year 2002 and their headquarter office is in Kunming city of Yunnan province.
