Stone-milled matcha gets a fruit-forward twist here, blended with natural peach flavouring so the familiar grassy, earthy backbone of green tea powder is softened by stone fruit sweetness and a creamy, milky finish. The matcha keeps its vibrant green colour once whisked, and the tasting profile leans into peach and cream rather than straight vegetal bitterness — smooth is really the word that sums it up.
Matcha itself is the traditional stone-ground green tea powder built around quick, ritual-style preparation; here it has been flavoured rather than left plain, aimed at drinkers who find classic matcha too austere but still want its concentrated character. Matcha has long been drunk for a steady, sustained kind of energy and focus rather than the sharper jolt of coffee, and this peach version keeps that reputation while adding a fragrant, almost dessert-like edge.
Preparation follows the usual matcha routine. For the traditional bowl style, whisk about a teaspoon of the powder into 60–80ml of hot water, not boiling, closer to 80°C, using a bamboo whisk in a brisk zigzag motion until a froth forms on top. For a hot latte, dissolve the powder in a small splash of hot water first, then pour in roughly 200ml of steamed milk, dairy or plant-based. For an iced version, dissolve the matcha in hot water, pour over ice, then top with 200ml of cold milk and stir. Sweeten any of these to taste. However it is made, the peach and cream notes carry through alongside the earthy base, making this a gentler entry point into matcha than the unflavoured leaf.
