"Lotus River Dream" (莲河梦)Our first ever pressing of Ma Hei Village ripe tea! This is a pure single-estate Ma Hei Village tea harvested in spring and autumn 2024 and then wet-piled in the January and February of 2025 in Menghai. 莲影摇波，白影藏树。 一伞青烟，牵来前世之缘。 香入梦，梦入水，水载流年。 Lotus shadows ripple on the waves, a pale form hides among the trees. A single umbrella of blue mist draws forth a bond from a former life. Fragrance enters the dream, the dream enters the river, and the river carries the years away. Smooth and rich tea, with notes of currant and chocolate, with a very creamy mouth-feel! Wet pile taste will persist for a year or two depending on storage conditions. We recommend brewing this for 30-60 minutes in a flask or thermos to maximize flavor. Use about 1.3-1.6 grams per 100ml volume for best results!
